YES. A convert :) Kale is awesome! It is also excellent raw, torn into little pieces, massaged with olive oil and seasoned with a little sea salt. The massaging softens it up. AWESOME.

Yummy! glad you found a combo you like! And yes, madcapcupcake is right, massaging is key for the big stuff - tho dino kale (also called lacinato, black, Nero di Toscana) tends to be more tender to start if you can find it. Our Whole Foods has it. It's also sweeter and nuttier than the curly kind so it's good in salads - kind of looks like dandelion - but flimsier so not as good for chips. lol! Sorry! I love kale so of course I'm all about trying to get you to love it too.

thanks to my daughter, june begins with arms wide open, ready to take on the world. everyday i tell her she is beautiful; today she told me i was gorgeous. she will never know the gift of strength she gave me with that turn of phrase, from her heart and blessed with a smile for extra measure.
each new month i have been taking a moment to tally up the past, hoping that these numbers...the act of counting...will propel me forward: 151/365 days, only 5lbs lost, 115.7 miles gained, 10,381 calories burned, 2110 feet climbed, 26 hours devoted to sweating. that was may...june, bring it on!
