Ok, here's the recipe. I'm sorry the cinnamon is white, but I didn't want to start all over! 1. Pulse nuts and dates together 2. Add all other ingredients 3. (Optional) Add honey until it clumps, to hold it together better. 4. Spread on a brownie pan and throw in freezer to firm them up. You can add any dried fruits/nuts/spices/oils you want - just play with the recipe to get what you like. We added pumpkin pie spice and some ginger. #homemadelarabars #larabars #paleo #gaps #food #healthysnacks #wholefood

@brechang you got me thinking about making them again, after I saw your post! These have almonds, walnuts, coconut flakes, chocolate whey powder, honey, vanilla, cinnamon, pinch of salt, dates...and the other batch we added pumpkin pie spice! Wanna try the almond oil you added!

@mel_cardona Lara bars in the store are made with really simple ingredients: dates as the sweetener and binder, various dried fruits and nuts and that's about it! I can email you the recipe? They're super easy. Just need a food processor, nuts of choice, dates, cinnamon, dried fruit of choice, vanilla, coconut flakes.

Since when did this turn into a food blog, haha?! Chard, arugula, mint, and basil from my mom's garden, almonds, cucumbers, Billy's pickled peppers, almonds, kale, avocado and chicken. On top of the chicken is a mega-hot harissa sauce from Plenty cookbook and some Greek yogurt to cut the spice! Dressing: lime, pickle juice, olive oil. Delicious!

Caption

Making my favorite granola! No sugar or grains. (I'm attempting slow Paleo and/or GAPS.) Recipe is: 1 c pumpkin seeds / 1 c sunflower seeds / 1 c coconut flakes / 1/4 c honey warmed / 1/4 c coconut oil / pinch of salt / 2 tsp cinnamon / 1/2 tblsp vanilla extract / dried fruit of choice added AFTER it's baked. 350 degrees for 30 min, stirring every 10 min. I added almonds, hazelnuts, walnuts, & maca powder. Enjoy! (Thanks @hmariebenson for the recipe 😘😘)
