My friend just lost his dad last week in a car accident in beenleigh. 2 young men robbed a house and stole car keys, went back later to steal the car, following day they were speeding through beenleigh, lost control and swerved across the road in to my friends dads car... They were 17 and 19 and had 29 and 31 year old girls in the car... Wtf is wrong with these kids... Can't they just pick up a bike or skateboard?

Oh no :( @brain_freeze That's just terrible to hear I am so sorry for your friend's loss :( I can't believe they didn't know better - especially the 29/31 year old girls. It's such an unfortunate tragedy and I completely agree. I would never have even begun to imagine doing anything like that when I was younger; nor did I know anyone capable of it!

@brain_freeze - you hit the nail right on the head. Kids that do dumb shit that end up in tragedy like this will often say they did it because there was nothing to do. Build more skateparks, let them graffiti them. It gives them something to do, and a community.
