You don't lower the car buy adjusting the spring. You move the fork on the bottom. The spring has a preload set on it

They don't. The have a preload set from factory. Type 2s have dampening I think. And there are other ways. You can get extended top hats and take the preload off the springs. Is one way @machinegunbaker

Since it don't matter about having suspension since your car will be sitting ON THE GROUND, just sell the coilovers and weld a nice thick ass bar from the control arm to a stock top hat, and then no more worrying about spring rates or going lower lol.

Pull the coils off, remove the bottom half that you adjust height with and you can take a perch or adjuster out. Whatever you wanna call it. Did that to my skunk2s and didnt have to touch the spring preload.

Ya I sanded and preped but I didn't want to use a laquor primer for a urethane base and sense this blue has been on there a year all the gases have released. This caliper is starting to lock up and got hot and I think made it chip.. This wheel was solid black from brake dust. The rest were white @lebanezzy_

Ya it's very thin. I think like 18gauge metal. I used 16g metal to fill them and if it makes you feel better. Iv never welded and it was with a gasless mig lol I also hand made and replaced sanctions of the quarter panels

Ya it took me and a buddy a while. We redid all the body work and paint in 2 months lol. Ill try and get the pictures off my memory car of the quarter panels when we did them. The doors were really dented and still have some waves in them so I might redo them with a air file this summer @matt_tims
