True story: there was a VHS copy of SLC Punk that would be traded around the scene, primarily at ARFO shows. I still have that VHS haha. I feel all the old kids should get together and have a viewing party or something

Well, last night didn't go quite as planned. Power steering belt came off on lap 2 in the main event, so Dad had to manhandle it through the corners. Then on lap 15 or 16, the steering wheel and shaft pulled straight out in his hand! A few guys managed to miss him where he sat in the middle of the front straightaway, then one driver accidentally plowed into him, doing the damage you see here. Finished 4th in the heat race after starting in the back though to start the day, so we have the speed, just gotta get a little more luck.
