✨#TBT... 2004 vs 2014 👶🍼➡️ 💪 .
The pic to the left was me on my way to the hospital with my second child.👭 The pic to the right is me today ... Feeling Better than ever at almost 42 years old 🙏.
After going through 2 c-sections, my expections were pretty low. I wasn't I wasn't sure if my body was going to bounce back after the second pregnancy since I had gained over 40 lbs. I was excited to get to the gym but I was still doing mostly cardio and and very light weights. In order to lose the "baby weight" I would go through my days eating poorly and thought the less I ate the more weight I would lose. I would attempt going into the weight room to lift weights but was so intimated that I would go to the gym at 4:30 am in hopes of avoiding people so no one would see me working out .. #truth
But as I started lifting weights, and slowly began seeing results,
my confidence increased. I eventually began to look foward to strength training because I realized that cardio alone wasn't going to transform my body the way I wanted it to . Once I incorporated healthy eating and concentrating on eating more as opposed to less I really began putting on lean muscle and and that's the moment I saw the biggest changes . Many people ask how long it took me to get my results and I never know how to answer. It certainly didn't happen overnight. The process was slow . I still feel like I'm still a work in process but it's "loving the process" and seeing the changes that keeps me motivated . 💪💕.

Quick and EASY meal for those low carbs days 😋💥🍴
▪️Baby Romaine Lettuce Cups (5-6 pieces) . ▪️1lb of ground turkey seasoned with 1/2 tablespoon of Taco Seasoning .
▪️1 chopped tomato .
▪️2 tablespoon of shredded cheddar cheese .
▪️ 2 tbsp of chopped scallions .
▪️1/4 cup of Greek yogurt or lowfat sour cream .
▪️ Juice from 1/2 lime
▪️ 1 tablespoon chopped cilantro . ▪️ Salt and pepper to taste .
Distribute ingredients evenly into each lettuce cups and Enjoy 😘👌
