No way to do a before and after without a douchey selfie involved, sorry guys! Me today at 170lbs and 1 month back in the gym after a year+ off. I want to gain muscle, stay lean, and still eat healthy. I could search for diets but those are universal. I needed something tailored for me personally. My homie @thejaketubbs put together a meal plan for me to do just that. My advice, don't take fitness advice from anyone who doesn't have the body the YOU want.

This is my friend, @lieslmariepeters. Well this is her as a child, but I felt this photo of her was most appropriate considering the topic. Liesl has IBD, also know as inflammatory bowl disease. In the past 2 years this sweet girl has spent over 100 nights in the hospital battling the disease for which there is currently no cure. She works very hard on raising awareness and also raising money for research. It would mean a lot to me if you'd all go take a sec to read her blog and educate yourself on this. My mom also has crohns disease and had to have her colon removed at the age of 27 and has had 10 major surgeries since then. There definitely needs to be more awareness about these diseases for sure.
