they tell me developing color film is harder than b&w film. it's really not that bad, and definitely doable. you feel a sense of self-satisfaction when the positives[i develop slide film] come out clearly. i have 2 rolls from this weekend in norcal that I'm gonna develop this week. @lynch455 I use the arista e-6 kit and follow the instructions that comes with the chemicals. the trickiest part for me is maintaining temperatures...but every YouTube video I've seen on the process says temperature is really only important with the first developer.

Some smaller medical offices still develop x-ray film, with an automatic processor; hand tanking is nearly extinct. Back in the day, I had friends run their photo film through the X-ray processor. Just a thought, if you're feeling adventurous and have a resource!

developed my first roll of COLOR SLIDE film!!! what a nightmare haha. I don't think I'll self-develop color again after I run through these chemicals. I'll leave that to the labs, and continue to self develop b&w. Actually lomography made a bag with film holders, small bag able to fit one fixed lens camera and three film holders. It was a good bag and all but after a while the elastic just became loose and it was pretty much useless as I bought it for that reason.

I like it! I've used some older military surplus bags that have similar elastic holders. I like to imagine they once held grenades💣. I think they just held candy bars though. 🍫

@barce yep! it should work with anything it can be clipped onto. i've put it on multiple straps, camera bags, luggage, etc.

one of today's finds! usually I'd skip getting on cameras like these because they don't make film for it anymore...but this one has a roll STILL INSIDE...and an extra bonus of a flash bulb inside its flash compartment.[built-in flash is almost unheard of for cameras of this age]. @shancc I used expired Polaroid Spectra/1200 film. The Impossible Project makes a film for it called PZ 680 [or was it 600?]. it has "PZ" in the title though. :]

shot a roll of film in my #KodakTourist. I'll post more from this camera later. The shots came out looking aged like it was straight from the 1950s. I had to reroll 120 film into old spools to fit into this camera. My fellow film photographer from Lexington, MA just sent me three 620 spools and a roll of Kodak Tri-X to use for my #BrownieHawkeye. what an incredibly nice gesture! It seems he believes in film as much as I do, and he's encouraging younger photographers to get into the craft.
