@astrokidz India of course is a large country but what struck me was that the people I saw, even though poor, had the freedom to sell fruits and food along the streets, thus allowing the poorer folks to make a living for themselves in a productive way without resorting to begging. People still conversed with one another, a sense of connection - that was the beauty of it.

Yes I was lucky enough to spend 2 months travellling around. I worked with an Indian girl in Sydney and went to visit her and her family in Bombay then made friends along the way. I didn't want to leave

The curries are so good but it takes a while to get used to the spicyiness. To say they make hot curries is putting it mildly!!

I love the Gandhi quotes... One of my favorite people! A feat of irony... A number that haunts me 612 (1026), I play it in the lottery when I have deja vu, or a divine feeling big enough to make me stop what I'm doing and I see them... After reading the post comment, I began to type, then BAM!!!... One of those divine feelings, so I simply stopped and prayed "I really need some money, thank you..." I open my eyes and only then did I notice 126 likes, I hadn't paid that attention when I initially hit it, but after the prayer... First thing I see! I love that God dabbles in irony! #godhasjokes
